Manor Farm has been providing excellent care in Kessingland for almost 32 years. We have a member of staff who has completed 30 years of employment with us this year.

The home strives towards a better quality of life, in the service it provides, through Short Breaks, Respite or long term care packages, adopting a systematic approach to the requirements of the individual, focusing upon the six values of care, these being: Independence, Choice, Dignity, Rights, Fulfillment and Privacy.

Manor Farm Care Home is located in Kessingland, just four miles south of Lowestoft, a small resort with a long and rich history. This former fishing village boasts wonderful stretches of rural beach and in 1988 has again won the Tidy Britain Group's Seaside award for it's high standards of cleanliness and water quality.

Philosophy of Care

Manor Farm works under a philosophy of care that dictates that all residents shall live in a safe and comfortable environment, where they are treated with respect and equality, irrespective of their needs and backgrounds and in an environment of trust and familiarity.

We believe it’s extremely important to promote independence and understand that all of our residents should be treated as individuals so every person living with us has a plan of care designed around their requirements and preferences, granting them choice in all aspects of their daily routine. We also welcome regular visits from family and friends.

To ensure that our high standard of care is maintained, an independent quality assurance system is in place.
